For you super organized people, we have good news. For you not-so organized people, we have good news. And for those who can’t wait to start shopping for gifts, even better news.
We got you covered for 2017-calendar-wise anyway. (Calendars are already selling a fast clip, so get your orders in!).
You have so many choices to start the year off on the right handmade paper foot:
Our famous collection of Midori Calendars, featuring eye-catching images of seasonal flowers, images, and the like. Some of these calendars are reusable as you are able to pop out the image and send as a card, or simply frame.
And the collectible Serizawa desk calendar– printed from Mr. Keisuke Serizawa’s original “katas” or stencils.
12 Months of Paper by Helen Hiebert: We are proud sponsors of Helen Hiebert’s labor of love; each month features a handmade paper craft. Look out for us in November 2017! Roll up your sleeves and try a new paper DIY project each month. What a fabulous idea and we were so happy to be a part of this fun calendar.
So many choices: which calendar suits you?

Is your masa 43″ wide roll paper ph neutral?
Paper Woman
Thanks for the message. The Masa paper should be. Ironically we just wrote a blog about it,
http://paperconnection.com/use-masa-paper-printmaking/
and here is a website of an artist who uses Masa:
http://www.lyellcastonguay.com/
We asked him to contribute his thoughts to the brief blog.
Let us know if you have anymore questions!
Thanks,
PCI

Could you please tell me whether or not your masa 43″ wide roll paper is ph neutral and archivable? Also can you obtain roll paper as wide as 82″?
Paper Woman
Our masa paper is ph Neutral, as most washi or Japanese papers are, however, masa paper is not recommended for museum conservation work.

Happy New Year Tim, Just in case you did not see the link to our 43-inch wide masa roll on our webshop, here it is: http://shop.paperconnection.com/products/masa-soft-white-in-rolls-irm
I think it’s safe to say that is unlikely that 82″ wide masa roll would be possible to have custom made; if it is possible the minimum would be quite large. Does it have to be masa paper? are you interested in a custom size Japanese paper in general? what do you use the paper for? We can have custom handmade Japanese papers made for you at certain mills. The mill where the masa paper is made by machine, may not have a wider (wider than 43″) machine, therefore handmade paper with a custom mould at a different mill could be the solution.
