DESCRIPTION:Starting Saturday morning\, October 18th \, in this 6-week course\, Jules from Heron Pond Studio will guide you through the linocut printmaking process. This is a special opportunity to learn from a local expert! \n[ 90 minute course for 6 Saturdays:  Oct. 18\, 25 and  Nov. 1\, 8\, 15\, 22 \nBeautiful papers from Paper Connection‘s collection\, will be included in your course fee! However\, students will need to purchase in advance a list of supplies provided by the instructor\, like carving tools\, linoleum \, etc. \n6-student minimum\, so sign up with a friend or two! \n\nAmple parking and accessible ramp at front door! \n\nAbout the Instructor \nJules has been a printmaker for over 40 years. HeronPondStudio has been a working studio for over 30 years—currently as a studio in Fall River\, MA at the Narrows Center For The Arts. Jules has participated in many shows in RI\, the Boston area\, New Jersey\, Philly\, and Baltimore over the years. Jules’ work doesn’t just consist of one kind of image—the full body of work includes animals\, people\, places\, things\, and a lot of imagination! Jules has also taught classes and given printing demonstrations in her studio space\, kids summer camp programs\, and in churches and museums.
