DESCRIPTION:Upcoming 2-DAY JOOMCHI workshop with internationally recognized artist and author Jiyoung Chung. \nLearn from the “Joomchi Queen”- the Korean craft of JOOMCHI: a technique of agitating\, and manipulating handmade mulberry paper with just water and your intentions. \nMs. Chung began her studies as a painter and  developed a way of “painting” through fiber- specifically hanji (Korean mulberry paper) employing her contemporary interpretations of joomchi and traditional Korean paper processes. \nHer work has been exhibited widely in museums and galleries around the world\, and she is celebrated for bridging ancient techniques with innovative contemporary expression. \nHer workshops emphasize both technical mastery and personal exploration\, encouraging students to discover the expressive potential of paper through touch\, rhythm\, and transformation. \nMaterials fee to be announced.  \n\n\n10:00 am-4pm Saturday & Sunday \nLINK COMING SOON! \nIf you have any questions\, please write to paperconnection1@gmail.com or call us Monday – Thursday (401) 454-1436.
