Attendees will learn embroidery techniques and simple stitches that can be used to create personalized art on paper. \nAll materials provided\, including a variety of specialty papers from Paper Connection for each attendee! \nEach participant will learn how to: \n\nChoose and work with thread\nTransfer designs to paper\nThread a needle for embroidery\nUse simple stitches\, including backstitch\, satin stitch\, and split stitch to create shapes and fill\nTie off your threads and finishing\n\nThis event will run from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM \n\n\n\nUNDER 14 WITH PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN

DESCRIPTION:Join special guest instructor Oded Daniely for a one-day workshop on Saturday\, June 6th from 10am-4pm\, introducing participants to the basics of pulp painting with pigmented fiber and collage using handmade paper. \nThrough demonstration and guided practice\, students will explore mark -making\, layering\, and composition within handmade paper\, and create painterly works that merge papermaking processes with expressive image-making. \n\nAll fiber\, pigments and other materials provided for this COLORFUL weekend.\nStart at 10am and end at 4pm.\nNo experience necessary.\n\nNOTES :\nBring your own favorite apron and wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting wet.\nWe will take a short “lunch” break . Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages.\nPlenty of free parking around Hope Artiste Village.
