DESCRIPTION:Learn how to make paper thread using hanji and a drop spindle. We will start with a sheet of hanji (handmade Korean paper) that is folded\, cut\, then manipulated and handspun into a one-ply thread. This contemporary method\, developed by Aimee Lee\, is rooted in Korean and Japanese traditions. \nAll skill levels welcome and most supplies will be provided\, including x-acto knives\, cutting mats\, spray bottles\, and hanji sheets provided by Paper Connection. We will have drop spindles available\, but recommend bringing your own.
