Paper Thread Workshop

Learn how to make paper thread using hanji and a drop spindle. We will start with a sheet of hanji (handmade Korean paper) that is folded, cut, then manipulated and handspun into a one-ply thread. This contemporary method, developed by Aimee Lee, is rooted in Korean and Japanese traditions.

All skill levels welcome and most supplies will be provided, including x-acto knives, cutting mats, spray bottles, and hanji sheets provided by Paper Connection.
