Learn how to create beautiful artwork inspired by nature while using eco-friendly materials. No previous drawing experience required, just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
Instructor Gwen Caponigro will cover the basics of making your own inks, with natural pigments like avocado and onion skin mixed with gum arabic, and follow up with a floral still life drawing session. You’ll learn observational drawing in pen, ink and brush, emphasizing contour and silhouette to make intricate floral images with an antique feel.
All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own flowers to draw!
